FCC recognizes Eleforss testing laboratory’s test reports

USA’s Federal Communication Commission (FCC) recognizes the accredited test reports issued by Eleforss as part of the product acceptance process.

The FCC Declaration of Conformity, or the FCC label or FCC mark, is a certification mark employed on electronic products manufactured or sold in the United States, which certifies that the electromagnetic interference from the device is under limits approved by the Federal Communications Commission. Therefore, also Finnish companies exporting electronic equipment to the USA are required to obtain the permits.

Within the European Economic Area, the respective conformance label is the CE marking. The CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.

Eleforss is ISO 17025 accredited for measuring devices subject to Declaration of Conformity and Certification under the FCC rules for the three scopes, which cover a wide range of various electronic devices:

  • Unintentional Radiators (FCC Part 15, Subpart B)
  • Intentional Radiators (FCC Part 15, Subpart C)
  • Industrial, Scientific, and Medical Equipment (FCC Part 18)

If your company is exporting electronic equipment to the USA, Eleforss is the accredited testing laboratory, whose test reports FCC recognizes for product acceptance. In Finland, Eleforss is the second EMC test laboratory having the FCC approval. Please contact us and we are pleased to assist you in your testing needs.
