Eleforss Oy, a subsidiary of the Finnish technology corporation, DA-Group, was issued the accreditation by FINAS, the national accreditation body in Finland, for its Tampere testing laboratories. The scope of accreditation covers electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) testing, of electrical, electronic and radio frequency equipment. The scope of accreditation includes the key emission and immunity measurement standards, as well as several harmonised standards related to the EMC and Radio Equipment Directive.

The accreditation of Eleforss’ testing services affirms their competence as an operator, according to international criteria within the scope of accreditation. Customers and authorities can rely on their service quality as an accredited operator and on the reliability of the results they provide.

In addition to Eleforss’ comprehensive testing and measurement services, DA-Group offers advanced electronic, high technology solutions and product manufacturing. Sami Kotiniemi, CEO, states that, the corporation has steadfastly invested in the quality of its operations and services.
– The accreditation of Eleforss’ testing services represents another significant milestone in the path. DA-Group acquired a part of Microsoft’s mobile device testing and R&D laboratories in Hervanta, Tampere, in early spring of this year. According to the accreditation, the Eleforss testing laboratory conforms to the requirements of the SFS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
