A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the companies to develop the use of CUBE for the launching, laying and storage of sea mines. Kristian Tornivaara, Chief Business Officer at DA-Group Defence and Aerospace, said: “We are excited to start the collaboration with SH Defence. They are now taking real action and provide world navies the future proof modular solution for naval minelaying. We have been working with sea mines and mission modularity for years and we have seen the need for such a system. This is also the reason for SUMICO patent, which now can be utilized in Cube System to enhance navies’ operational capabilities and flexibility.”

Japan is looking into game-changing technologies in order to contribute to the national security of Japan and the promotion of peace and international cooperation.
The transport technology trade fair has started in Berlin. Around 1,000 invited guests are expected at the official opening today in the Palais Berlin on the exhibition grounds. Speakers include German Transport Minister Volker Wissing and EU Transport Commissioner Adina Valean.
InnoTrans is the international trade fair for transport technology - for example Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. A unique feature of InnoTrans is its outdoor and track display area, where everything from tank wagons to high-speed trains are displayed on 3 500 meters of track. The fair has been a great success - 153 421 trade visitors from 149 countries.

Maritime industry professionals from all over the world will attend this long-awaited event. There will be 70 international speakers at the fair and 27 delegations from politics, business and international navies. The fair is a great networking event!
