RF ENGINEER, SPACE

Your workplace and immediate co-workers will mainly be located in our Forssa office, but you can work from home 1–2 days a week, if required.

YOUR MAIN TASKS:

Engineering, development, assembly, testing and integration of complex RF systems. This includes the engineering and testing of RF components, such as antennas, amplifiers and filters.
You will assess the performance of RF systems and make any necessary changes to the designs to improve the efficiency of the system. This may include analysis of the signal strength, frequency response and signal interference.
You will prepare comprehensive plans for testing RF systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults and problems. This may include measurements, spectrum analysis and troubleshooting.
You will keep a record of the engineering work and the changes made to it. You will prepare reports and documentation to help the other team members to understand the engineering solutions.

WHAT WE HOPE FROM YOU:

A relevant university degree and/or studies in the field.
Strong problem-solving skills, precision and analytical thinking
We consider experience in the space industry, design and manufacturing methods, components and raw materials as well as the ability to perform tests as an advantage
Finnish and English language proficiency; other language skills are a plus
